Fix: The current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request – Outlook error

Many of the users often confronted with and received the message appearing as  Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request; please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client. Such messages displayed to them even though the users have already set Outlook as the default email client. The users received such messages while performing any action related to email on their Windows 10. There are several variations of the error message which occurs while executing the email related activities on Windows 10, and the identification is necessary before reaching any conclusion and solution. Here is the simple guide to the error message explaining everything from reasons behind the causes of solutions.
It should be taken into care that the variant of the error messages regarding Outlook depends on the type of action you are performing on your computer. Some of the modifications are the following:-
If you are attempting to send an attachment or some file to the other recipient of your mail in Windows Explorer, then the users may get the Either there is no default mail client, or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client. If you are working on Microsoft excel and busy in sharing a spreadsheet to your client in the form of an attachment by the email, then the users may be encountered with the same error message. This time the message will appear along with a statement appearing written as Quit Microsoft Excel, restart the system of mail, and then try again.
If the user is performing some work on Microsoft PowerPoint and willing to share his presentation with the other party or business partner through the email. In that case, also, the user receives the same error message stating that this action could not be completed due to the general email system failure. Similarly, when a user attempted to send the document in Microsoft Word as an email attachment, then the same message stating that Word Could not send the email because of MAPI failure “Unspecified Error” occurs.
Even though the users are getting the same error messages from Outlook while performing email-related actions but still the cause behind the problem is identical for each issue; consequently, the fix to the problem is also the same. The problem occurs because of the setting up improper Globally Unique Identifier for the Outlook version on which you are working. The users can follow the below given three suggestions if they are willing to resolve the problem.

In some fixes to the issue, the users can choose to set the Outlook version currently they are using as the default program. Also, if the repairing of the applications failed, then the users can choose to fix the issue by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Microsoft Office suite.
